Just Another Day in Paradise...

Not too much has been going on the last week, mommy and I have just been catching up on some much needed nap time. Mommy's dad went in the hospital last week and recieved some life-changing news so mommy has felt a bit in the dumps lately. To try and cheer her up I have been extra good, being extra cute just for mommy. Although I did steal the last bite of her chicken sandwhich right off her plate on mother's day, she had the nerve to scold me...can you believe that? So I waited until she least expected it and later that same day when she was giving me belly rubs I bit her right on the wrist. Mommy is a huge Twilight fan so I just look at as a two teeth marks on her wrist in tribute to her favorite vampire.
Olivia and I are getting more comfy together mommy actually caught us being nice to eachother but then I quickly hissed an ran away, I didn't want her getting any ideas, after all I love being a spoiled only child...that is unless mommy wants to adopt a handsome man kitty *cough* Bradley *cough*. My foster mom Phylis told mommy that if that happened this may become an adult-only blog...she knows me so well!
I hope you all had a great mothers day and remember:

UPDATE! UPDATE! READ ALL ABOUT IT!

First, I want to apologize for being MIA the last week. Mommy had a lot of things going on and forgot to leave me the password to her laptop...how rude. Secondly, I want to thank everyone for the continued support, encouragement and love you show me!
Mommy was so excited yesterday when she weighed me, I lost 0.6 lbs! I keep trying to tell everyone these mommies of mine keep trying to starve me, but a'las, no one listens to me, I've really got to figure out how to use that phone... So on a half-brighter note, last week mommy bought me a water dish to go with the one my foster-mommy made for me, and guess what it looks like? A giant ice cream cone with sprinkles! The bottom even looks like a waffle bowl...I believe mommy has some sick sense of humor or something, why don't she just dangle a treat in front of me to chase, sheesh...I better not give her any ideas though.
So I've been sleeping in bed since I arrived here, to my forever home, I just don't understand why mommy and daddy insist on sleeping in bed with me. Mommy accidentally bumped me the other night and I bit her, that will teach her to interrupt my beauty sleep! I did feel a bit bad after so I apologized by snuggling up by her face and hugging her arm the rest of the night. She was pleased to say the least. No one could ever get mad at this face...except when mommy got up to switch the laundry out and made the mistake of leaving a small bag of Funions on the bed, when she came in she found me with my head in the bag and when I heard my name I quickly pulled my head out with a mouthful, jumped off the bed, and gobbled them up UNDER the bed where she couldn't get me. I think that will teach her to not eat snacks around a starved cat.
So Olivia wanted me to show you guys a picture of her, I think she's a bit jealous I have a blog and she doesn't, so I told her I would show my friends and a couple pictures of her so she could feel some special on-line lovins too!

(Olivia showing off for the camera =^_^=)

That's all that has really been going on in my world. I'm loving my new home, all the new toys are great and my new mommy always reads me emails and comments from all of you guys, and my foster mommy. It's nice to be so loved, adored,pampered,spoiled... (=^_^=) ...Move over Hello Kitty, there's a NEW cat in town!

First Night and Special Thanks!

Sorry it took me so long to post a blog from my new home, but my first night here was a lot for me to take in, so I had a lot of exploring to do...UNTIL I found the big comfy bed, then it was just R&R for me! My new mommy has this weird obsession with taking pics of me, I'm not sure if it's because of my beauty or because she wanted to make sure I have lots of pictures to share with my friends and family, I'm going with the beauty reasoning.

This morning I woke up pretty late, I blame it on this big comfy bed I have all to myself without those beagles around, although I felt a bit lonely for them last night...a BIT (but don't tell them that, I'll deny it). I was hoping when I was served my breakfast this morning my new mommy might not know about this whole portion control thing, but alas, out came the measuring cup and my hopes of possibly not being starved in this house went right in the litter box.

So last night when mommy Phyllis brought me here I was very unsure of this whole living situation so right into the closet I went....

I stayed her for about 4 hours, then I finally made my way out to check out my new house. Until like I said...I found the bed...

Then it was all over from there! My new mommy even brought my favorite toy into the bed foster mom Phyllis brought with me. Then I watched some TV...

...Until that is my Cat-aunt Lavender, who mommy's baby-sitting jumped up to say hi and check me out...

...I quickly growled at her, and hissed a bit to let her know who's bed this is. She jumped down and left me alone and as you can see under the title of my blog, we all know who woke up in the big bed this morning. Also, as it turns out the Easter Bunny didn't forget me or  foster-mom Phyllis this year! I think he just had my new address and left our stuff here. Mom got some of her treasured cadburry eggs, and I got a whole basket full of toys and catnip and a cool leopard print batting toy!
So all in all it was a great first night here. My next mission I think is to meet up with Olivia, my new sister cat and get the gossip on the men kittys in the neighborhood...right after I find out where the treats are hidden.

I also want to thank all of my friends and family who have followed me all throughout my journey and have followed me to this new blog. The love and support you all show me is just unbelievable and heart-warming. I also want to especially thank my foster mommy Phyllis for making this all possible. You were there for me when I had noone, when I was sick and scared. You stuck by me, nursed me back to health, and helped me lose over 10 lbs! You are truly an angel and I will forever hold you in my heart. You are the true meaning of a mother and truly an example of God's love.

I'm off to sleep in my huge comfy bed, I better go now before mommy gets too tired to give me belly rubs before bed. I wouldn't want Lavender to get the wrong idea and think she can claim my spot on the bed...silly silly Lavender.

UNDER CONSTRUCTION...

Well I've decided to start this new blog for all of my wonderful family and friends who have followed me the last year and a half on my search for not just a forever home, but for the new healthier me I deserve to be. My foster mommy says I'm ready to move on to a new chapter of my life so that she can continue to help others like me who need her.
I met with my new parents Sunday night, and of course they LOVED me. I'm not surprised, who wouldn't? I showed off my lovely purr, even rolling over for them a few times for a belly rub. I heard they have another starved...er I mean, portion controlled kitty in the home and that's exactly what mom's...I mean we have been looking for!(sarcasm, can you tell?) I will be meeting Olivia, the other inmate, er...again I mean portion controlled fed cat Friday. I hope they serve catnip...
